I came for 'Tell it Slant' and got caught up in re-reading this wonderful story, spelling notwithstanding ..... the better part of two days as I reacquainted myself with the Iololkus universe much to the chagrin of my dog. If 'Tell it' went

If this story were a God, I would sacrifice blonde virgins and large animals to it. Never mind the goats and the chickens, bring me bloody girafes and elephants! Oh, and probably my first born as well.
In 12 years of fanfiction reading I've never read anything remotely as insanely brilliant as this.
If I had to keep just one, this would be the fic I would take with me on a desert Island.
Am so happy you finally gave these stories the site and layout they more than deserve.
Thank you.

Oh goodness, I was so excited to find this again! Like a few lapsed Philes, the new flick made me remember my psychotic days as a high school and college kid going to XF conventions, hosting chats on CompuServe (!) and reading hours upon hours of fan fiction. This was my absolute favorite series and I read A LOT ("Too good to be fanfic" is how we used to talk about it, I remember). I'm pretty sure I even had a copy stored on my computer back in the late 90s for when my dial-up was acting up (man, this really just seems like light years ago). Sigh...thanks for the blast from the past!
