First, I'd like to say I was ecstatic when I discovered -by a happy coincidence- that you had posted a new (well, sort of) story.
Your and MustangSally's "Iolokus" turned me upside down. I was seventeen when I came across it. I was spending a year abroad as an exchange student in Bangkok (I'm french, btw), and the continuous feeling of being lost in that pandemonium definitely tinged my reading with special intensity.
I used to attend a thai girls' school, and on the way home, stewing into some bus swarming with uniform-clothed people, my one and only thought was "shower, stay naked, turn on the fan, zigzag through roaches, crash on the bed, devour Iolokus".
I still can't figure how you two managed to hatch that. It's painful, scrumptiously bitter, and truly hilarious. I'm now resigned to the fact that I won't ever read anything even remotely as good (ffic-wise).
I wanted to thank you for the precious time I had with Iolokus, respectfully, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

And now I'll start reading that little delicacy.

Take care
